Medicare Contractor Reform Initiative (MCRI) Project via subcontract with Logistics Management Institute (LMI) under contract with Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). NCCG provided Medicare subject matter experts with a broad knowledge of the Medicare FFS environment to assist CMS with the drafting of the Model Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) Statement of Work, assist with Market Research and Data Gathering and Develop Recommendations related to CMS’ Procurement Strategy Decision, assist CMS in preparing a foundation for an overall Program Plan for implementation of Medicare Contracting Reform, assist CMS with the development of a strategy for managing the transitions that will be required under the proposed Contracting Reform Legislation. In addition, NCCG associates assist CMS in identifying required integration of CMS’ Medicare Contracting Reform initiative with other program and operating changes, including the other mandates (e.g., Medicare Drug Benefit) of pending Medicare Reform Legislation; and the collection and reporting of progress metrics against the plan; The development and/or refinement of a Concept of Operations (ConOps) document that would describe the migration of the current Medicare FFS operating environment to the future operating environment; The development of a Communications Plan for CMS’ Medicare Contracting Reform initiative; Monitoring and validation services with respect to the numerous contractual and operational transitions requires by this initiative; the documenting of an Acquisition Planning Document for the Medicare Contracting Reform program. |
